After the latest patch #6 I see that the hits, texts and graphics have greatly improved to match up finally but I've noticed when it comes to bunts the ball never moves after it is pitched however the commentator and the text states where the bunt has traveled. All other balls hit have their graphics now match with the text and the commentator's play description....now we need the bunts to show graphically..................almost there but no cigar yet!

Rule 5 returns in online leagues cause the returnee to be released.

If Team A (who drafted Rule 5 player) releases the draftee, the draftee is returned to the original team correctly, but when the league commissioner imports team exports, the draftee is released into the FA pool, presumably because he's not on the team's import.

Am I making sense?

After playing out hundreds of games in OOTP16 I have noticed that the AI does not pinch hit for his pitcher late in game when trailing nearly as often as it should. Even with the Pinch Hit for Pitcher setting set to Very Often, quite often the AI will allow his pitcher to bat in the 7th or 8th even with tying or go ahead runners on base, often even with 2 outs. I've seen this behavior in old-time leagues from the 30s-50s as well as in leagues using the most recent 2015 roster set.

Is it possible to tweak global pitch-hit-for-pitcher logic to make the AI almost always pinch hit for pitcher in the 7th 8th or 9th when tied or trailing with tying or go ahead runners on? I can't imagine how many games the AI has lost due to missed opportunities to pinch hit for pitcher late.

Ever since I updated my game to the new version, every time I try to load a game it tells me that the world.dat file is missing. I have submitted two tickets to support and they have not responded. If anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated.

After this last update the game is incredibly sluggish. I get a "not responding" prompt after every mouse click in the game. I've ran all sorts of scans and what not on my computer and I have all programs shut down when playing. The game played fine before. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this issue?

in my online league we have contract extensions disabled. you are not able to right click and go to extend contract. you can however, go into their player profile and then contract, and then negotiate an extension.

I have had a few guys extend their guys but did not have a clue how until I noticed this. Please fix this, as it is a major loophole for leagues that do not allow extensions.

Also, if I could suggest, could we get a setting to be able to enable extensions for personnel but not players?

Recently drafted players (apparently every player in the previous amateur draft - at least all we have checked) have major league contracts now. I *think* this happened with the latest update but I'm not positive about that and don't think there is a way to check that. It's not something you'd notice in passing.

It can be fixed manually but it's quite tedious.

I bought the game about a week ago. It worked fine initially, but my save files started getting corrupted and now i can't play any of my profiles and have to start over every time i play. how do i fix this?

I would like to report that since the last update, the weather doesn't change as you play anymore. Before this update, the weather would change during the game. You might start the game with partly cloudy, then rain, then maybe clear or some other combo. Now it doesn't do that anymore.

While in control of my team, my RF got injured making the third out of the inning. He was also the first batter up for me in my inning. The AI chose the replacement player instead of me having the choice of who I wanted to replace the injured player with. As a result it cost me 2 players as the AI's player didn't even play RF. I was never givin the choice. It just happened.

Latest Patch broke pitching rotation!

Strict Order

Twice now pitcher has pitched back to back days even though rest of rotation is rested and not injured.

Uploading League Files and emailing Matt....

In my online historical league, Jamie moyer will not start.

He is not injured.
He is not set to be benched in the game strategy screen
He is 100% rested
My rotation is set to a strict order. He's #2 out of 5. every other starter starts.
I am not using 7 day lineups.

Edit: the pitcher had an injury which didn't show up in the player profile, but was in the editor. Removed the injury and he's fine.

100 wins gets cut off in standings. i am using Questdogs font with Dark skin. Somehow they combined.

This last patch is an absolute disaster. Every time I attempt to make a double switch it forces me to let the pinch hitter pitch to the first batter the next inning. This was not happening until I installed this latest game breaking patch.

I agree. I'm going to search for the patch before because the draft is all F'd up now.

Seconded...
I'm trying to form a 8-league (2 "divisions" in each league), 224 team European configuration....
Even trying a test run, i.e. without editing each team, simulating each day in the offseason takes about 80 seconds...
Just tried this in OOTP 14, and there it takes about 2 seconds...
Any reason the newest patch can be looked into, so it doesn't cause these memory leaks?

Standard solo league:

My team's career pitching leaders in the History index are completely inaccurate from the WAR category on down. The game appears to be trying to place other unrelated stats in the proper one's place.

Since the latest update my game crashes whenever I get to the offseason. It also crashed whenever I clicked a specific quickstart file I created. A different one I created had no issue until I got to the offseason.

I'm quickly running a standard game just to see if it does it with that as well..
