pitch sequence pane

I do not get a batter figure in the pitch sequence pane. I just get a line on either the right or left side of the plate. The OOTP 16 manual shows a batter figure. How do I get the batter figure?

It is currently from the catchers perspective and the batter graphics has been removed for this version.
