How do i delete patch .30

I'm having problems with the latest patch which has left my game unplayable for me. I want to delete this patch and go back to a previous version. How do I do that. I reinstalled a previous patch over .30 but it still shows the current patch upon start up.

I would uninstall OOTP and then install with the previous patch.

I think all but one of the patches has just been the full install package. I think you just need to uninstall the current version you have running and then install the "old patch" version. Not sure though what will happen if you have played any games with the new version as it was not backwards compatible, at least for online leagues. May have to go to your last backup to continue.

This is for pc version but I would think mac would be the same?

No guarantees but before running the installer rename the ootp16.exe file. This may allow the older version to take hold.

I'd back up all leagues just in case some file corruption occurs.

This has worked for me in the past but I take no responsibility for any bad result.

Thanks all. What I did was a Windows restore point. I now have the version I was using previously 16.4.17 However I lost my league due to file corruption. A real bummer.

Once a game has been saved under a new version, you can't use it on a previous patch. So I expect if you updated back to the recent patch your game should be playable.
