Any news on some players in independent leagues getting contracts that are far more then teams can afford? I've posted about it before here and here and also uploaded a previous save ftp (it's covered in one of the posts).

I can change in commissioner mode however it's a bit difficult having to keep a constant eye on contracts handed out in all other indie leagues (ABL or American indies) to make sure there are no crazy 6 figure contracts handed out then editing them down to a normal level.

Not a huge bug by any means, but just caught my eye. For some reason the first word, "two" is not capitalized. It just looked weird.

Really confused by a problem with my saved game. I attempt to load a game I just started in OOTP 16 and I get the error message in the picture. I have OOTP 15 on my computer, but I just started this game in 16 two days ago and haven't even opened up 15 since then (really since buying 16). The saved .lg file is in the 16 folder. I have already attempted to make a copy of the .lg folder, leave it in the saved games folder for 16 and rename it. I attempted to load it and got the same error message.

When I try to use the import from 15 button it comes up with an error that says it can't import because the save was created with "OOTP -1" whatever that means.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm having the same problem, except I never owned OOTP 15.

I played last night and was able to load my file no problem, but when I went to load my save file today I had the same message as CoCoCrisp. The Import File button didn't work either.

WAR and Games played issue in team history

Looks like the all time columns did not move up. Because I have all 1s for my OOPS

It didn't work for me, but you could try doing the fix in this thread. (look at Bowtie's post) It worked for me in past versions, but not this time for some reason.

i searched the thread, and 1 guy wrote something similar but it was a bit convoluted. maybe this is clearer or different...

if both teams trade a pick from the same round - the trade will not exchange the picks that are in the same round - everything else involved is swapped as expected.

it was bugged in ootp '15, too.

The little player info things that popup when you mouse over a player is enabled every time I open up the game. So, I turn it off (which does work) but when I reopen OOTP it is back on. It's just a slight annoyance to have to turn it off every time I open OOTP but a bug is a bug.

I'm having the reverse problem from Tyler - the popup boxes are no longer working for me post-patch. I'd rather like to have them but can't figure out how to turn them back on.

Players hits wrong in Special notes. He had six hits, says he tied team record with five hits, but tied league record with six hits.

I recently got the game through Steam and recently got the new patch. However, every so often I get a strange white screen after I go into another window. The window doesn't go into the not responding phase, but I can't do anything. I do notice the pointer sometimes changes to the hand that indicates I can click on something.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I'm getting a bug where it's failing to show me the previous day's score on the top part of the main screen.

So I'll have a game played the previous day as seen on the schedule but it's blank under "yesterday" on the top

Hi ! I'm noticing a small issue with the animated ball in 3D mode. On any fly ball hit to the outfield, including HRs, the ball does not 'fly' out to the outfield, it just stays at home plate. All grounders to the infield show no probs. Those are fine. Can you help with these 'no fly' fly balls ? :-)

This is because the special notes are written before the game is finished.

If he had obtained a seventh hit, it would have said "tied league record with six hits / set league record with seven hits" because it doesn't wipe out the previous line for whatever reason.

Also, this belongs in roster errors and not here, but I'm noting that Seattle 2 and Boston 2 are still not fixed just so no one else will have to check.

It is quite literally an error in the major league roster set. So I guess it goes in both places.

It's not something we (the roster team) can do though, it's Markus' responsibility, and he doesn't monitor the roster thread.
