New Backgrounds naming convention?

Love the new "Backgrounds" in use in OOTP 16 and have even created some basic ones thanks to a template posted elsewhere.

The problem (minor) I have is that the background file and the logo files can have the name name, separated only by the folder in which you put them and it's, in a word, confusing when you are creating graphics for both.

Logo can be - toronto_blue_jays.png
Background can be - toronto_blue_jays.png

The readme does actually say ".jpg", which might be good enough, if that is meant to separate the backgrounds from the logos (normally sporting a ".png"). BUT, Any chance the backgrounds could include a "_bg" for example in the naming convention? As in:
