Directed Development

It would be nice to direct player development, such as making players learn a new pitch or work on defense etc. Maybe as an option menu when you right click on a player?

This, on the other hand, I absolutely agree with.

Even if it's just "work on your eye in the offseason" something like this (especially if it leads to conversations with players) would be an amazing addition.

Great post.

This would be absolutely excellent for when it comes to cultivating relievers or transitioning a blocked prospect to a different position.

I want this too. It should probably come with a certain element of risk -- sometimes you mess with a player and he'll forget what made him good -- but it's both realistic and interesting, and those are the two things I like OOTP to strive for.

It would be great feature to make a player focus on one aspect of their game to work on during the offseason. It doesn't always have to work though.

Yep. Wouldn't have to be as sophisticated as the old point assignment module- although I did like that -but some optimization or focus on a weakness is a part of the process. Even if it doesn't guarantee improvement, which it shouldn't, the ability to emphasize it would be a grand addition. Yes, for v17. I'll get on board.

By the way, does OOTP has something like "player preferred moves" in FM? This PPM can be learned, unlearned and developed.
