Anyone else see this before?

Not sure if this is a new feature but I've never seen this before. I am currently acting as just the GM. Anyone else see their Owner make moves like this?

Acting isn't for real so this makes sense.

Yup, looks like you have a meddling owner. Be glad he only gave him one year

My owner does the same thing. Thankfully, it's paid off so far, but I worry it might not when those guys get older, if he keeps doing that!

Trade him to piss off your owner

Owners always give you goals like these, but at the end of the day, if you are able to win and reach the playoffs, or win a championship (if that's your owner's goal), then usually it doesn't matter if you resign him or not. You will still keep your job.

I've thought about doing this. Depending on how the season goes this year will depend on if i let him go. Wanted to try to keep all the guys together in Seattle to see what it could have been like.

Yea I read the original post, and I knew what he was asking, which is whether we seen the message before.
But I am just going one step further to elaborate on the fact that we do see these all the time, and furthermore it doesn't matter if the goal is fulfilled as long as you win.

It's not about a goal being fulfilled. The owner stepped in and signed a player to a contract extension without the GM doing anything.

Ohhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! My fault. I did not know that could happen either. My apologies.

But wow, talk about a meddling owner.

He just did it again, this time for 6 years 78,000,000. One thing i noticed that's pretty cool is that it doesn't affect my actual money available to sign FA. Almost like he's taking it out of his own pocket to sign the guy.
