What's wrong with the Striped Cats? Last time I saw them they were in first place, and now they're almost as bad and almost as out of the playoffs as the Metsies?

Well, gonna have a look this evening (evening for me at least), but four games behind the Twins seems just wrong to me.

I think being Victorless is finally catching up to the Tigers We need Victor Martinez back and we need him to produce. Ugh!

Had a very bad dream last night. In my dream Justin Verlander after making his first start for the Tigers this season, a 10-1 loss, in which he gives up 9 runs over 1 2/3 innings, tells all that will listen to watch his upcoming reality series, "Kate and Justin."

I see Cespedes left the game after only 1 at bat. This can't be good news. Oh and Shane Greene is off to another stellar start.

Cespedes fouled a ball off his foot/ankle/whatever. I was in the kitchen and didn't see it. I saw some scary pitching and fielding by pitchers however...

I was at today's game. Drove 3.5 hours there and back to be there. Was a bit frustrating, especially since I left after the bottom of the 8th to get to my van and didn't see any of the 4 runs scored in the 9th. At least all three of my kids got to experience the Tigers at Comerica Park for the first time.

OK ... I know by now I'm the pessimist of the group ... but is there a light at the end of the tunnel I should look forward too? Before RandyTiger would ask our pre-season predictions and I would've said this team isn't going to make the playoffs. I will root for them till the end but this is even worse than I thought would happen.

- Two wins in a row.

- Still only 4 back after suffering an 8 game skid.

Positive signs! This will be a better week in Tigerville.

I hope they send Greene to Toledo for a bit to find his pitches. Kyle Ryan is doing okay as a fifth starter for now.
