in progress
I'm working on a new baseball card set for japanese leagues (see below)
A few questions regarding problems I must solve before I can consider it done: - there seems to be no xml file for the slugger award and for the relief pitcher award. How does one work around that? Use the default xml file? ![]() - anyway to have a different card template for pitchers and batters in the same xml file? I tried adding an image in the respective batter and pitcher sections of the xml file, but to no avail. - are there any hidden tokens for fielding stats (errors...)? Here are two sample cards and the model I used. |

Here's a link you can reference when creating cards: OOTP Baseball Card Templates
As for templates specific to batters or pitchers, you can accomplish that with some creative use of image naming and the position token but the overall design of the card can't change too dramatically. Stats tokens will also only show up for the type of player, so you can use a batter specific token to force something to only show for batters. I'd suggest looking through some of the work other modders have done to see if you can find something that might give you a clue as to what you're trying to do.

Thanks for your help. I can't believe the solutions were so obvious the whole time.
The lack of fielding tokens is disappointing though. I'll post the finished product soon. see below for download link and further explanations http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...e-leagues.html Last edited by Hankyu Braves; 05-30-2015 at 07:13 PM. |
