Hold on, I'll screenshot them for you.

Arrow drawn to the "Today's Line" -- the date used to be on the bar with the wind and everything, but strangely enough, only seeing attendance there in the picture. I'll figure out if something changed in the patch, I remember that as well.

At least you'll see today's line in the expanded view, though.

I admit, I really miss the date as well. One thing you can do though is click on the boxscore in game and see it there.

I guess what I am missing with the Today stat line specifically is the batter expanded view to show walks and strikeouts and the pitcher stat line to how HR's. Trivial but important to me.

I see what you mean now, about the Today line... I see now that it has been changed.

As far as the date goes, I remember that as well, but like my friend David said, you can click onto the box score and the date is always displayed there.

I know its not on-screen and you have to click, but at least you can still get the data. I'm sure if Mr. Arnold sees this he may make a note of it to add the date back to the game screen if possible... and I wonder if it is possible to choose which "extra" stats you get in your expanded view.

I had thought that you meant where I pointed didn't appear in the expanded view, it didn't even click in my head because I forgot about the way the expanded view was set in the past.

Thanks for waking my brain up, sir.

has noticed that the date is no longer on at least the 3D version and would assume even on the 2D version same issue. But to me the date on the game play aspect is trivial but I do see the value of having it anyways.

Wasn't that "Today" line (in OOTP14) essentially duplicative (for the most part) of the "Today" line above it, under "Season"?

EDIT: Any streamlining that saves a row on these screens makes room for other data to be shown, depending on screen resolution.

I miss the date being on the screen.

It is way more relevant than attendance, if you had to choose.

Yeah, I have never understood why the date was removed. There's still plenty of room for it. Seems like more of an oversight than an intentional change.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
