Minor league contract
Has anyone ever been able to sign a player to a minor league contract? I have never been able to in iootp and the cpu seemingly can.
I'm not talking about undrafted players that become free agents, but major leaguers no one is signing. |

If you're talking about players already on your minor league team you don't have to. They will sign a minor league contract automatically if not arbitration eligible. |

I have done so but the player has to be really desperate. An example might be a weak-hitting shortstop that you're signing simply as a possible injury replacement because he's a decent fielder.
