Best Settings For Historical Accuracy???

I want to start a historical league in 1903 and want it to closely resemble real life. Can I have a run down on the settings I need to pick to make this happen? The pre-season prediction says the lowest ERA is 3.35 and nobody hit 24 HR's that year!! What the heck am I doing wrong???? Any suggestions is MUCH appreciated!!!

Default settings will work fine. Give them a try.

You can also disable player development. This will even more closely approximate real life performances, at the cost of fewer surprises.
