Extremely Late Start Date?

Hey so in my MLB Quickstart my seasons are starting really late and ending really late. My season starts like April 18th, and the playoffs ends like November 20th. This really screws things up with playoffs, and the all star break etc. The All Star break happens like July 25th and it really screws me up. How can I fix it so the season starts like April 1st - 3rd and the playoffs ends like October 30th?

Under League settings - Rules? or Options you can set the approx start date during offseason.preseason. Or use a custom schedule like a GMO schedule that has an earlier start date.
