Another Bug? Has anyone seen this before?

Okay, this will take some explaining....so, here goes...

Last night I set up a Fictional League.
League Settings:
Total Teams: 8 (2 leagues with 4 teams each)
Team Geography: South Atlantic
Schedule: 82 games, set to start May 1
Dynamic Evolution: OFF
Starting Year: 2015

Personal Settings:
Commission Mode: ON
Start Unemployed: YES

Ok, after setting up the league, I asked the computer to sim 100 seasons into the future so I could pick up the league from there. I left the standings screen up as the sim moved. By the time I actually went to bed, probably 15 seasons had been simmed and I checked on it and everything seemed fine.

When I woke up the game was still simming and had simmed to 2068. However, I noticed two new teams had expanded into one of the leagues (now 6 teams in one league, with 4 in the other). The season was also well over 82 games. So, I figured, "damn I must have forgot to click Dynamic Evolution OFF." FYI, the two new teams were from 'AUS' and Detroit despite the league structure being "South Atlantic" teams.

Well, I stopped the sim and then checked.... nope. It was OFF. Then I checked the league history and found ZERO record of the two new teams ever existing. Nothing in records, champions, etc.

HOWEVER - When I checked the Hall of Fame, there were several players from these 'new' teams that had completely inflated stats (since they played 162 game seasons vs. everyone else playing 82 game seasons), i.e., one player had 2,678 hits.

Then I checked the Single Season / Career Records and those players were NOT represented. The leader with hits was 1,677.

HOWEVER, some of the single season records belong to players who DID play 160 games.

Then, I went back to the standings screen and the teams had disappeared from the game. Now...the only record of the teams is the Hall of Fame players as well as the players in the Single Season stats leader categories...

How and why did this happen?

What happens when you do a search for the team? Regardless weird.

Games do weird things when left alone. Hard to say it's a bug though since this is a one off thing.

Is it possible that OOTP has stopped or dramatically curtailed development time into the fictional league simulation part of the game in favor of the MLB part of the game? I have seen several bugs pop up in the fictional side that hadnt occurred before.

I'll definitely have info soon. I always do at least one major fictional. I've just been kicking around ideas since last night on how I want to play first as I'm starting fresh and doing no previous version league imports.

I always do several tests before starting, so I'll definitely post if I see anything wonky.

I do the same thing and I haven't seen anything like that pop up.
