Any way to avoid unwanted expansion?

I was blindsided by the announcement on November 1, 2015 that my leagues were going to expand by two teams with an expansion draft scheduled for November 27 (Seriously--less than 4 weeks to prepare?). Is there a way of canceling this?

League Setup - Options Tab - Disable Automatic League Evolution

And join the effort to have such huge changes off by default.

Thanks, it looks like I'll have to go back to my last save and toggle it off since it's already fired though. Wow--I hadn't looked at that tab and it has a lot of things I would rather the game not suddenly impose on its own.
