Somehow I am GM of every team...how do I toggle this off?

I just got the game and I wanted to use the 2015 players but redistribute them among the teams and let the A.I. control them with the new rosters. So I used the initial fantasy draft option, took control of all the teams, and then drafted through 40 rounds and autocompleted the draft. After that, I went to the league and toggled an option to have the A.I. manage all teams...but it doesn't seem to have taken, or maybe only the onfield management and not general management is under A.I. control.

The reason I say this is that I got personal messages from every owner, no trades have happened, and I periodically get these messages about "decision needs to be made on player x". I've been dealing with those by telling the A.I. to set up lineups and rosters and the games are playing themselves but I really wanted to have the game take over and observe the action. How do I extricate myself from this apparent total GM situation. I'll probably need very detailed instructions because I'm not very familiar with the interface yet.

Just thought of something--I think I'm in commissioner mode. If I untoggle that, will that solve this problem?

Commissioners can control all teams, but you might also want to check the checkbox that says "Do not allow AI to make roster changes." Because the AI will make moves on commissioners unless you've told it not to.

while in commish mode, go to:
game
game settings
league settings
at the very bottom of the middle list is "Set all teams to AI control,fire all human managers

then you can go back to your manager home and take the job for whatever team you want to control or none at all and let the AI run them all

Thanks for these replies. I've now set all teams to AI control, and also allow AI to make roster changes just to be on the safe side. I'm no longer getting any messages asking me to do anything (other than the odd job offer) but while the A.I. is busily signing contracts and moving people up and down from the minors, it's June 4 and there still haven't been any trades (unless they're not being reported in the news or transaction lists for some reason). I checked the AI settings and it says trading difficulty average, trading preference neutral. Any suggestions as to what could be happening?

Never mind, the A.I. suddenly woke up and started trading like crazy on June 23. Maybe it doesn't make any moves until it's given the team an opportunity to prove its strengths and weaknesses?
