Question about MLBM long-term plan

For years now, we've been hearing about how the specs of old iDevices have limited the changes that can be made for each new version of iOOTP/MLBM. Currently, it works on my iPhone 4s and it likely runs on lesser devices too. At what point will it be decided to cut off the devices that are limiting the changes? Or are the minimum specs on even newer devices too limiting as well?

I don't know that we have a long-term plan for that. I think we'll take it on a year-by-year basis and see how the mobile hardware evolves.
