My suggestions.

1. Play in Commish mode where you make the decsions on player fines, suspensions. Approve/disapprove relocations. Players Union demands, etc... Owners vote you in or out.

2. Play as owner. Set goals for GMs, Managers, Coaches and players. Decide budget. Suggest league rules changes. Fine players and suspend. Mark players as untradable. Just be able to unleash your inner Steinbrenner.

3. Indivdual Team Hall of Fame (example Royals Hall of Fame). Set rules for your teams Hall of Fame. i.e. needed to play for team for 3 or 5 years. Need so many Innings pitched, hits or plate appearances. Have to be retired from playing at least 5 or 10 years.

4. Annual team awards (Rookie, Hitter, Pitcher, MVP etc..) and icons added to player profile. Example Red Sox's 2015 ROTY, MVP. Have option for manual voting and AI selection.

5. Team Rivalries.

6. Don't know if this would be easy to program but random personal rivalries. Player 1 refuses to play for your team, Refuses to sign extension or new contract unless Player 2 is gone. Demands he be traded or his rival be traded. Starts braw, take out sliding or beans rival when facing rival's team. Think Clemens / Piazza.
