Never mind about the Wisconsin Rapids Twins, I went ahead and made a set for that team.
Now I need jersey and logo sets for the teams I have chosen to be the Mets minor league affiliates for the 60s, if it isn't too much of a hassle. Here they are: AAA: Jacksonville Suns AA: Williamsport Mets A: Auburn Mets The AA and A teams should be straightforward enough, as I would think they'd be based on the major league team's uniforms. Thank you for your time. |

I know a lot of people on this thread love their history. I found a pic of this team: Crawford Recreational Center Baseball Club AKA Crawford Colored Giants. They were a semi pro team from Pittsburgh in the mid 20's. They ultimately came the Pittsburgh Crawfords. Unsure of the colors but I feel like it was a gray, pinstripe jersey with some sort of maroon or dark red. Notice the RC on the sleeve for Rec Center? Would Tx or anyone else like to take a crack at it?

Hi guys--really like your work, and have tried my best to adapt your uniforms/logos to my NYC fictional league. However, there's just a few teams that I'm unable to outfit with your existing work. I've listed them below with some ideas re: logos, which you don't have to follow if you've got something better in mind.
Highbridge Yankees (logo only)-- Highbridge, the neighborhood where Yankee Stadium is located, is named after this bridge, would be cool to have it in the logo. Traditional Yankee colors. Flushing Expos -- named for the world's fairs that took place in flushing meadows. Flexible on the colors--maybe the logo should incorporate the Unisphere? Sugar Hill Highlifes - Sugar Hill is a neighborhood in Harlem (near the Polo Grounds) where wealthier blacks lived during the Harlem Renaissance--its name supposedly reflects the "sweet life" lived there. However, I've substituted Highlifes for Sweetlifes because I think it sounds better. Have no ideas re: the logos, but want it to include bright colors. Harlem Rens - Rens being short for "Renaissance". There's actually a historical basketball team with this same name, but the logo need not reflect that. Maybe something to do w/ jazz? And if you've got the time, a league logo for "The City League" would be great! I know I'm asking a lot, but hopefully you'll find my requests interesting. If not, no big deal. Here's another request from my fictional league when you get the time. I have stuff to use for 1901-1920 or so, but I need uniforms from 1921 to present. I kind of stink at coming up with fictional league stuff...I'm much better at historicals! So, anything you can some up with will be appreciated.
Washington Executives: The winners of the NABL crown in 1902 and 1904, the Executives (or Execs, as fans and headline writers often call them) are one of the league's best teams as of 1906. Their colors are currently red and black, although I could see them using some blue in the future. Here's the current logo: ![]() No big rush on these, just whenever you get the time. Thanks! |

These are really nice, thanks so much!
Any chance I can get the logo in the larger 300x300 size as well? Last edited by moosbrugger; 04-23-2015 at 03:59 PM. |
