Played 1 season; can't stop crashing now

I played the complete 2015 season and everything worked fine. When I reached the Winter Meetings the game started crashing, usually within a few taps on iPad2. Tried restarting the iPad. Also checked iOOTP 14 and it works.

I'm going to wait for the update as I'm hoping this is just a stability issue. I'd try deleting and re-loading the app but I don't want to lose my current game now that I'm hooked!

Has anyone else had this issue? Suggestions?

Have you tried starting a new sim to see if it works?

Yes. I started a new current season game. After setting up, I tapped the Active Roster button and it crashed. Very strange. Played out a whole season smooth as glass; now this. Corrupted?

Running iOS 8.2 on iPad2.

Thanks for the suggestion Brad. I might entertain myself w/ iOOTP 14 until MLB Manager update; if that does nothing I'll delete the app and reload.

Plenty of memory? All other apps closed?

Yes. I've got 13 GB free on a 32 GB iPad. Others apps closed while playing. Date advances and AI transactions continue but any button that leads to a roster screen for my team, or any other team, crashes the app.

Thanks for asking!

This happened to me once… I came to the conclusion that it was from quitting out of the app during a save. The game was taking forever to save, so I quit out and went back in, and the same thing happened

Is this still happening, Walkoffman? If it still happens when starting a new season, maybe you need to delete the app and re-install it. However, that will wipe your saved games too, so you would want to use a third party utility to set those aside and put them back afterward.
