Problems When Switching Windows

In past OOTP games I have been able to freely switch between OOTP, Chrome, and other windows. Now when I switch back to OOTP, the game screen doesn't come back up and I have to end task in the task manager.

Is there a way to fix it?

Now the game auto alt+tabs out and I can't play the game at all.

Any help would be great!
