No, we do not want to be a second .400, we concentrate on our strengths and what we have onboard. OOTP and a soon to be released Title Bout and ITP.

According to the most recent release news I've found, the release of ITP has been pushed back to early 2003 .

EDIT: No, that's not a typo...

You could drop Title Bout and ITP and I wouldn't bat an eyelash. OOTP is the reason I come to these boards. I am well pleased that OOTP is no longer associated with Tournament Dreams(shudder).

I agree with darkhorse on this..... I bought TDCB, but soon regretted it. OOTP has me hooked.... no other sports management sims have ever really done it for me (although if I knew soccer better, I suspect CM would do the trick too).

Im glad that the focus factor is sharpened, and heartily concur that when ones reach exceeds ones grasp then bad things happen. Good luck on going forward, Markus!

Would now be a good time to resurrect the proposal for a college baseball sim that would eventually dovetail into OOTP? Recruiting, rivalries, college WS, drafting, a zillion logos, even the option to create your own fictitious college team (or conference!!) and build a dynasty. Seems like a natural extention somewhere down the road, perhaps even as a variant of ITP.

I think that TPF from 400 will be THE text football sim to beat beginning this year. I know I'll be one of the first in line to grab a copy.

I'd be surprised if the first edition of TPF were the best of its ilk, especially considering the creator's track record, but we shall see. I'll take my sweet time, waiting on feedback and reviews, before deciding whether to purchase.

Front Office Football is a pretty decent game.

I like and play FOF as well, but there is just something missing in the game for me not really sure what it is.

FOF.....is a "decent" game like you said however, IMO limited in feature and options. TPF (again IMO) seems to be packed with features. I really don't think that TPF will repeat TDCBs release. We shall see however....

By the way Darkhorse, I don't see you much over at Division Rivals anymore! To be honest I visit there but not much anymore as well. I'm still pullin' for'em though. Later....

LOL...we were posting at the same time... I too agree that something is missing. Like I said, I really do believe that TPF will fill the voids with the likes of features & options.

I hope so as well, however I'm also a fairly big fan of Madden(a game which has made huge progress in the last few years IMO).

Confused

Since the split, what games are going to be issued? When will the new title bout game be issued? If its going to be early 2004, I would like to order a copy of the old version. I've been waiting on the new one for nearly a year as is.

As for football, I play action pc by Dave Koch. Is the .400 game better than it?

Action is a "replay" type game and while it is OK, IMO it lacks in several areas.
