OOTP 16 Loading Screen

I have been playing OOTP since it's realease and I recently had to do a windows restart and update and now when I try and open the game it sits and says it's loading but nothing is happening. Please help! I love this game.

It's probably still Windows updating internally. Mine does the same. Just wait it out.

I'm trying to exit and minimize but when I click all it does is make that ding sound. It is completely stalled. Any other suggestions
