Regional League Question

If I set up a league that is regional (for example Mid West, or State of Michigan) will all players only come from that region? If I enable foreign players will players come from outside the region, or from other states? Hopefully this question makes sense!

i know all players in my Illinois Baseball League come from Illinois through 2 seasons.

Did you make changes to world.xml to make that happen?

If you enable foreign players they will come from other countries. I set up a league with Indiana as the region recently and forgot to disable foreign players and ended up with players from only Indiana and places outside of the US.

Can you set up other states like foreign countries, e.g., a Michigan league where 90% come from Michigan, 5% from Ohio, 5% from Indiana? Something like that?

Im not sure i haven't tried that. Im sure you could but would probably have to alter the world file.

If you select midwest as the region thought i beleive all players will come from the midwest.

You can't. You could edit or add a region and include those states. That's about it.

There's a region for every state. You can select it in the league settings, no need to edit the world file.

No. Just based the league in Illinois. i drafted 2 guys from my hometown, they both suck.

This is where you could probably edit the world.xml files by replacing obviously non baseball countries (like Mali, Seychelles, Vanuatu, etc.) with US states, if you are clever enough to do it.

This States as Nations mod should work in v16... I use it in v15 and it worked fine...
