What FTP program does everyone use?
i wondering because i have tried to upload my league file useing wsftp pro. But that says the upload has failed everytime. So i ahve tried ftp navigator but that stops uploading with like one second remaining. So i was wondering what everyone else uses? Or if you could help me with me problem. (wsftp pro says its completed uploading but then i go to tranfer manager and it says failed)

I use Cuteftp Pro and have had nothing but good experiences with it.

I'm using SmartFTP. Works pretty well for me and the price is right. Free.

I use LeechFTP. It’s fast and free. It’s basic but it works well.

I use CuteFTP.
And, like the others, I've NEVER had a problem with it. VERY user friendly and incredibly reliable, everything is self explanatory. |

I have CuteFTP too. On my system, the way it’s set up now, LeechFTP is faster than CuteFTP, head-to-head.
The NPBL’s league html totals about 2600 files per sim lately, at 35.5 MB. With Leech I upload it in 40 minutes. Cute takes about 75 minutes. |

I use DreamweaverMX .... I use it mostly as a wed design utility, but the FTP is very easy to manuever through. Dont know the cost since I have SPECIAL circumstances with it, but for those of you wanting to learn webdesign, I strongly recommend it.

nate,
I use WS FTP Pro and have not had issues once it was set up. The biggest thing with it is making sure the path is correct to your web space. After that's done, it is a breeze. |

If you're getting errors with WS_FTP Pro, then chances are, if you switched to another FTP program it wouldn't solve your problem directly. You probably need to fiddle with the FTP program settings for the site in order to get it to work. Wrong username, wrong path, etc.
A different program such as CuteFTP might make the task easier, though. |
