Hi - I am a first time player, and I have just reached the All Star Ballot stage in my first season, playing through from 1987. It seems suspicious that some key players did not make it on to the ballot. Ozzie Guillen was an excellent choice for the White Sox at SS but is edged out by Greg Gagne (acquired in a trade) and Larry Sheets in LF for the Orioles leads many categories but does not appear on the ballot.
I am presuming the the qualification criteria to get on to the ballot are not quite working. The filename is Reverse the Curse.zip Thanks in advance. David |

Seeing that this post gets more action than the Facegen topic, I feel the urge to post my Facegen issue here.
Makes me sad deep down

When i start a historical league in 1901, the game seems to crash around 1991. it will only continue without crashing when i turn baseball cards off.

All Star Voting Bug
Minor bug report - I'm playing a historical league starting in 1871. The all-star ballot does not show all the eligible players (i.e. some players listed have not played a game and only 1 per team is showing up). Also, the SP voting which allows 3 votes shows the same SP 3 times for each team (with the same problem as other players that had not played).
Observation (may or may not be bug) - I'm not sure if this is due to the 1871 start date, but the number of errors per game is very high. Typically, there are 8-12 errors per team per game. Fielding percentage is around .550 to .650 for each team. Overall, great game and much improved from the last version that I own (OOTP 10) |

I went to cast my first all-star ballot and noticed that all of the pitchers (SP & RP) are listed at least twice each, some of them 3 times. I also noticed a few pitchers on the ballot that doesn't even have any stats for the current season....that part doesn't bother me as much as everyone listed 2 and 3 times. Position players seem to be listed once. Anyone else seeing this?

Imported league (from 15 to 16) problem again, team schedule page has all days with games on it 'blacked out'.. see below:
These games have all been played so the score is only seen when hovered over.

I had the All-Star voting bug as well. It only started after I uploaded the latest patch. The voting worked fine over the weekend in the original version.

If I minimize, go to a different application, or even close my laptop for a few minutes. when I come back to the game, it's a blank screen and I can't do anything. Ultimately have to end the task. I do enjoy your game but there are times I need to do other things!

Pennant Chase issue
Hi all
When the teams scheduled for the playoffs don't include the 1st place team, the Pennant Chase shows only the top 2 teams, with each team's playoff% at 0.0 This is part of a promotion/relegation thing, but it shouldn't be too hard to implement the Pennant Chase per teams making playoffs, since this "bug" has to do with the 1st place team not eligible for the playoffs |

In real time sim after midnight the clock still says pm should say am. Also when jumping in to play a game that's simming in real time the pitchers are always cold in the bullpen. I've had them in there for 3 innings and they stay cold.

I agree with this. I monitor the transactions page daily but it would be very helpful if you got a message whenever the GM made a roster move.

I totally agree too!! I started a post on the main forum to see if this was something we should be seeing. I like reading about all the transactions but would love to see that.

Question on whether this is a bug - it seemed to be similar but not exactly the same in version 15 so not sure if this is working as intended or a multi-version bug.
When the game is calculating position ratings, it's supposed to combine together the player's three skills in an area and produce a rating. I started to notice some players who had no position ratings at all. It seems that if one of the three stats is below a certain value a player goes to having no rating at all. Right now in 16 if a player has less than 40 in range or error, or 80 in arm, in his fielding ratings he will have no position rating, even with 200 experience. This doesn't seem right - seems like it should scale down all the way to 0. Examples from a 3B. Range at 40, everything else 200 - he has a solid rating at 3B. ![]() Range below 40, all else the same, he has no rating ![]() Same with arm rating but it stops at 80 ![]()

Win assignment for pitchers is slightly bugged. I originally posted this in Steam, so I'll just transfer the main points from it here.
Scenario is as follows: Home team SP went 7 IP Home is losing 3-2 going into the bottom of the 7th. Home scores 2 in the bottom of the 7th. They went on to win 4-3, and the reliever that entered the game with a 4-3 lead in the top of the 8th ended up with the W. I pinch hit for home SP, and subsequently dragged and dropped the reliever I wanted to pitch the 8th all before the go ahead run was scored. I didn't think that mattered of course, but it apparently confused the game. The wins rule is pretty clear on this stuff also in case someone wants to pretend to be a rules expert here. Here is a pretty plainly worded explanation on it: https://baseballscoring.wordpress.co...nning-pitcher/ see the pdf in Official Rules | MLB.com: Official info and go to 10.17 for the full rule. Here is the inning log for the 7th with the action that caused the glitched win assignment BOLDED: Chicago Cubs batting - Pitching for St. Louis Cardinals : LHP Sam Freeman Pitching: RHP Jordan Walden Now in CF: Jon Jay Batting: RHB Starlin Castro 0-0: Ball 1-0: Ball 2-0: Called Strike 2-1: Ball 3-1: Called Strike 3-2: Strikes out swinging Pinch Hitting: RHB Mike Olt 0-0: Ball 1-0: Ball 2-0: Called Strike 2-1: Swinging Strike 2-2: Ball 3-2: Strikes out swinging Batting: SHB Dexter Fowler 0-0: Ball 1-0: Ball 2-0: Ball 3-0: Called Strike 3-1: Base on Balls Batting: RHB Jorge Soler 0-0: Called Strike 0-1: Called Strike 0-2: Ball 1-2: Foul Ball, location: 2F 1-2: Ball 2-2: Ball Passed Ball!
