I noticed that many of the coaches have a poor "preferred job" selection...high-profile former GMs like Andy McPhail, Jim Hendry, etc have no manager ratings yet they are set up as managers in the personnel pool. Likewise, some notable former managers are set up as GMs.

If you use the drop-down menus to sort by preferred job as I was doing, you'll miss out on these candidates.

I haven't run any long term tests or anything, but does anyone else think the prospects are rated considerably higher than they were in previous versions?

Royals just sent Brandon Finnegan to the minors to let him continue to develop as a starts.

Good eye. The pitching prospects certainly are.

After talking with Markus they were nearly all boosted a bit and probably the top hitting prospects are a bit more highly rated to keep pace on the prospect lists as well.

Tyler Skaggs is currently in the game as out for a further 12 months. He underwent TJ surgery in early August - so he is certainly expected to be back in time for the start of spring training in 2016. There is even talk of him pitching in the AFL this year.

The Twins just signed Brian Dozier to a new $20 million dollar contract. Not sure if you want to change that for this year or leave it until next.

Hector Olivera to Dodgers. 6 years, 62.5 million.

Glad that is done before opening day rosters are set.

Cespedes and Iwakuma should both free agents at the end of this season because of a privision in their deals to become free agents after four years service time.

I guess there's no way of putting this in just for these specific players?

The guys that were selected in the Rule 5 draft either have to stay on the active roster or go back to their original team. However, several of these guys are in AAA on rosters now.

J.R. Graham from the Twins is an example.

Kelly is in the game, but he's not with Tampa anymore.

He plays in Korea now, for SK Wyverns.

We could mess with their service time. Not sure if we should do that or not.

I see they've also signed pitcher Pablo Millan Fernandez from Cuba for $8m to a minor league deal.

I don't know quite what to do with Kela. Boosted him a bit, we'll see how it goes.

As for Claudio, he has super ratings, the ai should really be keeping him around.
