Odds of winning a bit off?

Played Cards at Cubs opener. After the first Cardinal batter was retired, it showed the Cardinals with 99% chance of winning. I know the Cubs have their issues but it seems that early in the game, the teams should have been closer to 50-50.

Should have been 99.9% The Cubs have no shot at winning. OOTP hates the Cubs.
