Sorry missed this one: I honestly can't remember if we have released all the attributes yet, so in case we have not I better not post them here out of the blue! There are 33 attributes though. There are specific attributes in the sense that only Throwing Power will be used by QBs, however all other players will still show that attribute, it will just be incredibly low. You can arrange the depth chart however you want, so if you want your punter as your #1 QB you can. Still to be decided how/if/when you play your punter as QB he eventually becomes listed as a QB/Punter as his position. |

3) My bad. I completely missed that. Thanks again. Saying that I can't wait for BTS to drop is an understatement. |

Will player ratings/potential decline without playing time?
Sorry if this has been asked, Noah

If they are a FA they will.
If they are on your team (and not old) they could increase as they will be practising most days *like Practice Squad players will never play but their attributes should increase as they train. |

Say I draft a great pass rushing LB and want to try him at DE. Will there be some sort of coach feedback letting me know how the transition is going?
He may hold up as a pass rusher, but is there a way to know if he's getting destroyed against the run, or missing assignments? |

FHM2 set a release date of May. BTS's release "date" is 2015. I wouldn't expect any road to release info out for a good while. Hopefully in the next few months we'll get a release month.

There won't be any release date announcement soon. We don't even know it yet.
I appreciate you are all very eager though. At the moment (apart from me), the rest of the company is obviously focused 100% on the OOTP release though, which I hope you will all understand. |

I think to remeber, that you said there will be no team chemistry in V1.
Is there or will there be a feature like locker room or team control. Like dislike of trading away star players. Or will three be moral loss after benching of some players, even by other players? Is there a rating or disciplin in your team? In cases of handling your conduct policy and handling of players after on- or offfield incedents. Will there be more incedents if you stay loose with your players. Can you train disciplin so your players conduct penaltys? How pacience will the a.i. be with their costly singings or high draftpicks? I suppose Trent Richardson would have been cut long ago, if he had been a late pick. Is there loyalty with your longtime players in free agentcy ? I also want to know how will you scout free agents or soon-to-be free agents? or can you just judge them on your game taoe? potential and personality? Can you talk to them before free agentcy, like everyone seems to do? |

Correct in no chemistry/moral loss etc, I'm afraid there was just not enough time for it to be done properly for V1.
There is discipline of the players, though that is something you won't have direct control over (aside from the fact it was choice to sign/draft a player with off the field-issues in the first place). They will do "stuff" depending on this off the field attribute and their punishment will be decided by the league (based on the current real life conduct policy). There is patience with draft picks. I can't remember the exact time but it's something like 3 (might be 2, I'd have to go look it up) seasons before a first round player is treated normally and has to earn his spot on the roster spot based on ability and not just because he is a 1st rounder (and it goes down as the draft picks go to lower rounds). There is no loyalty attribute as such for V1, though some players will want to test the open market while others will resign straight away before FA opens. As their is no loyalty attribute for V1 this is kind of random in a sort of way. You can not talk (i.e. offer a contract and find out what they want) to would be Free Agents before Free Agency starts. I know it happens in real life, but as far as I know it's a very shady area so I'd prefer to stick to the proper rules for now at least. (exception: if they are on your team of course then you can re-sign them before FA starts). Scouting soon to be FA (i.e. players who are on a team now but won't be in a month or so) will be the same as scouting a normal player. Your scout has judged their attributes based on his skill and what the player did in past season(s). If a player has been on FA for a long time (think Tim Tebow) then gradually your scout lowers his opinion of the player because he has not seen the player (in Action) for so long he presumes the player has lost some of ability somewhat. Eventually (probably not V1) that bit will change though and I want to add (not for V1 probably) things like inviting FAs for workouts every week or so to update your scouting reports on them (like happens in real life). Man every time you something new about the game it just sounds richer and richer. Gonna be a pretty in depth first iteration, I can't express my excitement for a deep football sim with a manageable UI.
My question, and forgive me if it's been answered already, is whether there will be an element of dynamism to leagues like you have in OOTP? Could Jacksonville move to LA in 2017 if they continue to play poorly, for instance? Or could the regular season schedule increase to 18 games somewhere down the line? |

Thank you.
To me it sounds like I am destroying people's dreams who are expecting morale/chemistry etc, so thanks for your comment ![]() |

I'm curious about the in game animation. As you're envisioning it in v1, how would you compare it to, say, the basic 2D animation in Football Manager? Obviously graphics are secondary to the simulation itself, but I find even fairly simple graphics like that add a lot to my immersion. Really can't wait for the game! |

Yes it will very similar to that with circles running around.
If you wish to see a very earlier prototype from around 2 years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PEd12FHl6E (this was before I joined OOTP so obviously the UI is totally different now), but you'll get the general idea of the dots running around. Count me in as another person salivating over this. There are some NFL sims out there, but they all look like ass or are otherwise very meh. I can't wait to get my hands on BTS. ![]() |

1982: Oakland Raiders to Los Angeles. Club remained in AFC West. 1984: Baltimore Colts to Indianapolis. Club remained in AFC East. 1988: St. Louis Cardinals to Phoenix. Club remained in NFC East. 1995: Los Angeles Raiders to Oakland. Club remained in AFC West. 1995: Los Angeles Rams to St. Louis. Club remained in NFC West. 1996: Cleveland Browns to Baltimore. Club remained in AFC Central. 1997: Houston Oilers to Memphis (later Nashville). Club remained in AFC Central. I doubt the NFL would realign its divisions due to a club relocation since: (a) the schedule is so short and spread out compared to the other big sports leagues travel considerations are not a major factor, and (b) the desire to continue established rivalries with that club, wherever it may be situated, via divisional games. As for established rivalries, that's one of the reasons I pegged St. Louis as a possible mover. I don't think the rivalries St. Louis or Jacksonville have with the teams in their divisions are ones the NFL would be tripping over themselves to keep. I mean it doesn't make much sense that Dallas is in the NFC East on paper, but those rivalries are all big time, so they'll never be moved. |
