Hep with getting back to realistic stats

I am about 15 games into my 1976 season...i am playing every team from rookie ball to the show...

so far...my MLB bats, for the most part, are not hitting much..especially the Dodgers and Yankees

my PCL is playing like an old game of RBI as i have hitters on pace for 81 HR and over 200 RBI

my Florida State League hitters are all worst than Mendoza

i know the PCL is a hitters league and the FSL is the opposite but this is too much that way IMO...

I originally created all the right players for every team (that was not already in the game) and had a formula i used to edit each players RESULTING stats ...

Did i miss something....Or, is their something I can still do to remedy this situation?

Thanks

Get a much larger sample size. In baseball 15 games is a blip.

I've had this happen a few times and sliders and settings did nothing.. Had to completely abandon one league and my current league was almost lost. It started when I added a feeder league and all the guys that came in from the feeder league would hit 80+ HRs as you mentioned. I removed the feeder league completely after 3 seasons and I started deleting all these players that I noticed in the league (through the leaderboard and preseason projections) and after about 5 years it leveled itself back out.

No idea what causes it or how to fix it. You may very well be screwed.

I know that but i also know that having 15 games of data where every game in the PCL has 30 hits and the league average projects out to video game numbers isn't just sample size issue- especially when u add up all the players stats

Same with weird walk rate in midwest league- league average is around .250 while OBP is around .400 due to the fact there are about 16 walks a game

Florida state league the leaguer e.r.a is around 1.70 and .avg around .220

What are your League Total Modifiers for the leagues with the odd stats?

They're what controls the basic stat outputs of each league.

You can find these under league settings > stats & ai

They're the numbers with the decimal points on that screen.

I replied to your post here as well since I'd love to get a copy of your league, but also since if I can get a copy, I can hopefully much more easily tell you what's going on with the stats.
