Which independent/international leagues are included in 16?

The newsletter states the following in terms of independent/international leagues:

"This year, we added the Australian Baseball League to that list, along with several independent leagues in the US and Japan. All of those leagues feature real rosters, of course, with countless hours of work invested in researching realistic bio info, statistics and ratings for thousands of real players."

Obviously if real rosters are a thing, then the new indy leagues for 2015 (East Coast Baseball League and Mount Rainier Professional Baseball League) have no chance of making it in because their rosters are too unknown at this point.

Not the United, actually.

We just decided to dump the United since the league is having major financial issues, and nothing is updated for them.

They're likely to be more trouble than they're worth and I'd say it's 60-40 they fold at this point.

Yeah, they're not in.

They'll have to stick around a bit and not be too terribly crappy before we consider them.

Will the independent leagues be licensed with real logos, jerseys, stadiums etc. as well or with those still need to be modded? Also will historic leagues be possible for the independents at all? I'm assuming not but if you ever add it this would be so cool so I could go back to the early 2000s and play as the Nashua Pride (my home town team) in the Can-Am and Atlantic leagues.

They'll need to be modded.

Historical, I seriously doubt it, but never say never.

Yeah, they're all the new international leagues.

All the leagues from last year are still there as well, ***, KBO etc.

Looking at those leagues, and the Mount Ranier League in particular looks decent, has some ok players.

If they last the year out and look good going into next year I think we'll take a long look at adding them.

how are you going to handle the greys of the frontier league, seeing as they are a road team with no home stadium?

I am going to see if I can make it to a Oregon City Mud Turtles game, if I can. I love independent league baseball!

Would be cool to see historical indy leagues. Most of them have pretty good record keeping don't they?

I handled them just like that...no home games in the schedule.

Does anyone have a good link/understanding of the complexities of Independent Leagues? I get what they are, that's not lost on me, but I'd like to read up on their rules and specifications before I immerse myself in them in OOTP.

What did you do with the Can-Am League given it has its road team playing only 61 games and the special Shikoku All-Star team playing only 17 while the other six teams in the league play 97?

Depends on what you mean by "historical". Independent leagues go way back.

Well yeah. Anything pre-1900 is pretty unlikely to ever be included lol.

No Bundesliga? I applaud Markus' resistance to the call of provinciality.

OTOH, I'll have to create it.
