UPDATE:

I've updated the file again. It includes additional transactions, better prospect ratings, and accurate schedules for the 2015 season.

I've updated my 2015 quickstart to include all moves up to the Burke Badenhop signing the morning of 2/7/2015.

Prospect ratings are not perfect, and minor moves are not all current.

How do I get the quickstart in the game? How do i get the file in the game?

Download the zip file from the link in the first post. Then extract the file to your Quickstart folder. Should be here in Windows 7:

C:\Users\Administrator or your user name\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 15\quickstart_games

Start the game and at the start screen select New Quickstart Game and there you should see the 2015 Offseason Quickstart, select it and have fun...

If we wanted to, could we use this for a custom game? How would we do that if yes?

I am not sure I quite understand exactly what your asking... Once you load this Quickstart, you can customize it pretty much anyway you want it to your liking and then save your changes as another Quickstart for future use... You could add or delete teams, move them around, change the any of the rules, financials etc ever how you want it setup...
When you do a custom game from the start screen it is just that, custom... You have to go through all the motions and set it up how you want it... The Quickstart has all of that already done...

Why didn't you use the actual 2015 schedule? Kinda weird to have the Sox open with the Cubs. Also why didn;t you use actual 2014 stats. Sale was 12-4 not 10-12. Guess i will have to wait for OOTP 16.

Has anyone had trouble downloading this? I have brought up the download page, clicked the area that says "download now" and it says the file is downloading , then it stops and takes me back t the original download page. I have checked ALL my folders where a file could possibly be downloaded to and cannot find anything referencing this file.

Worked for me last night no problems

Perhaps it is just my computer then. I really have no idea why I can't download the file but can download other things..

this was on Mediafire right? Sometimes they have issues.

Yes, this was from mediafire. I know there site is off and on. But no worries, I can wait until 16 is released in a few weeks. Just wanted to get the jump, so to speak.

Wow! Just spent over an hour with this in the spring training mode. Certainly an easy install with the Mod place.

OOTP isn't my main baseball sim but it certainly will play a bigger part for at least the next month...and maybe longer. I'm a WSox...Cards...Cubs...Red Sox fan and I've been looking forward to doing some gaming with their new rosters. Hard to do this with the DMB game but thanks to all your work it looks great in OOTP.

This will be lots of early baseball season enjoyment once I can review and figure out all the ways of doing things with OOTP in setting up players etc. Anyway...played a few Spring training games and the game and players look/play very well.

Thank you very much for all your work. This is going to be a blast.

Hey guys. I don't mean to be That Guy, but I'm having some difficulty installing this on my Mac. I've put the .quick file into the quickstart_games folder within default_data, but it's not appearing on the list of available quickstarts when I get into the game. I've never tried to add a Quickstart to OOTP before, so I'm almost certainly missing something. Any idea what that might be?

Here's a screenshot of the directory, if that helps.
