Very excited.
Also: "Seattle threw on 2nd down from the 1 yard line with a timeout and 20 seconds left and was picked off! I'm filing a bug report! No team would ever do that in real life!" |

One of the reasons Audibles in this game might be quite annoying. Imaging calling the run play and your QB audibles it to this slant and gets intercepted throwing away your SB win. I imaging quite a few guys would be unhappy.

Plus, maybe sign a deal with Pete Carrol to put his name on the game i.e. "Pete Carrol's Beyond the Sidelines Football" That way, when the AI makes goofy moves, you can say that's how Pete Carrol wanted the AI logic to be. |

I like Custom Leagues so the NFL isn't such a big deal.

Considering that they won, I figure I'll have a grand ol time trying to repeat with the Pats.

You and me both. Life long Pats fan and I've never celebrated a single play more than the Butler interception. I may be (am) biased but that is one of, if not the, best plays in a Super Bowl ever! |

Butler made a great play, but it was on the back of a terrible play call and terrible throw, so I don't think it can really count as the greatest play ever.
It's certainly a great story that he was an undrafted rookie, though. |

Life long Pats fan going back to Superbowl XX. I remember getting excited when Tony Franklin booted that field goal early in the game giving NE a three point lead. That's when my dad leaned over and said to me, "Don't get excited. They're still going to get killed."

The throw was actually good. Had Butler not gotten there fast enough and knocked that receiver into next week, it would have been a touchdown. It also helped that Reeves (I think) close lined Jermaine Kearse, to allow Butler to get into position. Thank Gawd Butler was in there and not Kyle Arrington. |

How much does this past Superbowl make you excited for BTS??
Arrington's time has run its course in New England as far as I'm concerned. Butler made a tremendous play, one that they prepared him for in practice. Love to hear stuff like that.

Best part of the season (and BTS) is only just about to start!. Combine Invites/workouts/drafts/free agency/probably something I've forgotten!

I can't wait for the game, offseason is such a great time, draft and free agency, new coaches possibly. I have already started to think about what I am going to do when I get the game. That undrafted free agent who becomes a star, the seventh round raft pick who becomes an amazing player, like my personal favourite Marques Colston.

Great to hear. The off-season is a lot of fun in real life so hopefully the game captures this time of the calendar adequately. |

... and it will be even better when (or if) Custom Spring Leagues become available( I know not the first version) that way you can play year-round.
