Probably just have to call the longest play in your playbook and hope it works + gets you enough yards.

Thanks :-) but after your answer, i have another question: if the number of teams and conferences in NCAA are the same as at the game start, the number of good-quality drafted rookies would be the same too? And if i expand the NFL to 40 teams, 8 teams would draft not good players and couldn't do the normal rebuilding?

And a small question about created leagues: could I create the amateur league or semi-pro league like in FM? Coz' a lot of international leagues are amateur or semi-pro.

Firstly there is a limit of teams per nation to stop the exact problem you are describing, however in general before you get to that limit the quality of the college players don't go up. The College system in American didn't suddenly produce 22 extra good starters when the Houstons joined in 2002, and they won't produce even more starter quality players the moment the next Franchise appears (London or wherever.

As for your second question, I'm afraid not. Every fake league in a different country will basically follow the NFL system.

I hope these answer your questions.

Unfortunately not for V1.

Is there any news on when BTS will be released? Is it still just 2015 or can you give us a smaller window?

When it comes to simulating into the future, will BTS be like ootp where I can select the year I want to advance to, or more like FOF by simulating periods at a time?

At the moment you can either simulate to the end of a point in the season (e.g. end of regular season), or for those who like to go decades into the future you can simply select to sim indefinitely.

Is this game officially licensed by the NFL, like OOTP 16 is licensed by MLiB?

On one of the earlier posts it was mentioned the first game play graphics would be two dimensional. Assuming that is still the case:

1.Will there be an option to go full screen to watch the game, with "pop up" windows to call plays?

2.Will the players be represented by Xs and Os?

I'm hoping to create the NFL of the 1950's with 12 teams divided into a Western Conference and Eastern Conference with no divisions. Regarding scheduling, can scheduling be unbalanced where one team plays all teams in its conference twice and then 2 games in the other Conference? Will I be able to do that?

1)The final UI for that screen is to be decided, but it will something similar.
2)In the playbook they are, in the actual game when they are playing we are undecided yet. For example if it's a circle you could easily put the player's number in the middle of circle (or initials, or position, etc.); that would be a lot harder with an X.

Hello, Francis! I asked you some questions, but you didn't answer them. So, I want to repeat it:

1) In Football Manager chairman have an opportunity to fire manager. So, can board fire GM in BTS?

2) Also in FM we have Board Confidence. How this feature will be realized in BTS? It's very interesting because in soccer you have many goals: not to relegate; to be in the middle of the table; to qualify in Europe League or Champions League; to be challenger; to win the title. And what goals we will have in BTS? For example it will be interesting to take Raiders and to have a goal "in 2-3 years to qualify to PO" etc.

3) And will we have "options" in Board Confidence like "Wages", "Squad Harmony", "Draft" or something like that?

Have you some ideas to realize this features? Thx you :-)

Sorry I must have missed them.

1)Yes (and you in turn as the GM can fire the HC or any of the other coaches, or if you don't like that aspect of the game tell your owner he can fire the HC etc).
2)There's probably not going to be a lot of time in V1 to have any in-depth board confidence screen like FM (or like the OOTP equivalent). We are still thinking about how we convey how happy/sad/whatever the owner is with you with the limited time we have
3)See 2)

Thanks.
Francis

We still expect to ship BTS Football sometime this year.

We won't have an NFL license.

We are still trying to figure that out. We may go just with city names, like in OOTP 15, and use abbreviations like NYG and NYJ when needed.

Just to clarify, that concerns team names of course.
Player names are fine.
