I do think we'll have an *** Lahman db at some point as that data is pretty much fully available. In fact there was one floating around here a few years ago. I have a copy of it. It needs to be updated with the last 4-5 years of data and made compatible with the current version of OOTP but it's pretty complete other than that. Please tell me you are including non-US currencies, in my case, £. Until you do, my dynasty is stuck using 14.5.28, a version which has noticeable limitations.

Everybody's in love with 15? You mean I should install and actually play it, too?

Would love to see options that allow us to operate baseball leagues that are structured more like international football leagues, and include as many of the following as possible:

Even if it was just £, $ and € that would be useful.

I was just thinking...I can't believe this is going to be the 16th version of OOTP....where has the time gone? I can still remember when I first discovered OOTP...I was eagerly awaiting the release of the second version, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it....it had to be shipped to my house in Philly.

Last one (for now, anyway): customizable looks for exporting screens to browsers. The fonts used in 15 are pretty awful looking and even hard to read, and I would like to see future versions resemble 14 in the browser more than 15.

Back to the online possibility, I hope they don't use the technology that other text sims use if they have a netplay feature for head to head play because if it doesn't use a centralized server, it usually ends up being incredibly unstable and at times virtually unplayable.

that would be nice. It does get frustrating at times when you have multiple leagues and see a player leave one ML for another only to have taken a minor league contract. That would certainly fix that problem.

By minor league affiliate contracts, he meant the ability for a minor league team to be able to leave it's current parent, i.e. Nashville Sounds becoming the affiliate of the Oakland Athletics when their contract with the Milwaukee Brewers was up.

Improved pitcher AI. Pitching staffs will now adjust to hitters more effectively.
Example: A batter is crushing a HR every 10 AB's but not walking. Pitching staffs make an adjustment and start pitching around/IBB the batter more often. This would prevent elite power hitters from having more HR's than walks. That never happens in today's game but in OOTP15 it's not uncommon for a power hitter to launch 50+ HR's for 3 or 4 consecutive years while walking only 30-50 times. |
