64 bit OOTP

One of the cool things about the current 32bit version of OOTP is that system requirements haven't changed all that much since 2006. The downside is that the application cannot utilize more than 4GB of RAM, which would really benefit a RAM-intensive text sim like OOTP.

Now, I'm not a programmer, so forgive me if the this request seems as if it were made by some rube who just fell off a turnip wagon in 1924. I honestly don't know how difficult such a conversion/upgrade to 64bit would be for Markus and co. to accomplish. However, it just seems to me that if OOTP is to continue evolve that this is a leap that will have to be made sooner or later.

You'll get bigger performance gains out of loading the game onto an SSD or RAID array than you would by moving to 64bit, I'd imagine.
