Road to Release Blog/Update Threads
As a long term member of the forum and buyer of FHM 2014 back in the Beta Days I understand the development team not wanting to put out a release date or loads of updates about the patch/new version. I also understand that people are busy and don't have loads of time to keep the users posted about progress that is being made.
However, over the last few months something has become very frustrating. The dev team make statements about not making updates but then publish things like a blog about the road to release that hasn't been updated since November. This appears to be much the same as the update threads where posts on a regular basis were promised and didn't happen. I feel by creating threads and publishing blogs like that you are in fact stoking the frustration of the user community especially if there is no intention of updating them beyond a few early, futile attempts to please the community. If your policy is to say nothing then stick to it instead of offering false hope. Last edited by Penfold75; 01-09-2015 at 06:05 AM. |

Is it so hard to understand for you? We said we post info once we are sure it is save to post about it. Both Road to Release articles talk about important changes to 2015, both were ready and well into testing so I wrote about it. There was no promise, that we write this articles weekly or monthly, just whenever something is ready to write about. The Blog is not a FHM blog but the OOTP Dev blog we all use. In addition I answer posts here on a daily base.

I feel by creating many similar angsty threads and posts like that which are very similar in the content and bring nothing new to the community you are in fact stoking the frustration of the user community.
If your policy is to make forum members unhappy by raging them then don't stick to it please. |

If people can't understand or handle people having a different perspective or point of view about something then maybe they shouldn't come on forums.

@ Penfold75: if you want to discuss the game or the ongoing development in a productive way, you are more then welcome. But we will not longer tolorate posts, that only want to provocate and make the experience for other user not enjoyable.
