Will OOTP 15 work on any tablets?

Does anyone know if OOTP 15 will install on any of the tablets? I cannot get it to work on my wifes Mac and don't want to buy a whole new computer for the game if I can help it!

Is your wife's MAC a tablet or a computer? Terminology matters and you used both words which confused me.

AFAIK computers yes tablets no. I welcome any correction to this statement.

There are minimum specs but for some reason I can't find them. Maybe one of the MAC users can comment.

It doesn't work on iOS. Win8 tablets are fine.

Unless the tablets run Win8 RT, like the cheaper/older Surface tablets. But there aren't a lot of RT-based tablets out there.

There is a minimum OS required for Macs. I know it works on 10.6.XX (whatever the last update was for that). I'm pretty sure that is the minimum. I think the system I tested it on was a 2010 white MacBook with 10.6 OS.

In case you weren't aware, there is a version called iOOTP for iOS tablets. It's a little simplified, but still works a lot like OOTP for computer. It's available in the App Store. It's also a good bit cheaper.

Microsoft thinks that the Surface Pro Three is a tablet and I can promise you that it runs OOTP just fine.

Yep. Surface Pro's all run full Windows 8, so you can run, well, any Windows program on it.

I tend to disregard RT as an OS.

I guess I should specify. will it work for ONLINE leagues? I am in MLB Pro, and I cant get it to work on my computers. Could I participate in this league with the above stated tablets?

Thank you all for your input btw!

Holy ****
I had no idea the Surface Pros were that expensive. You could buy a ultra thin 12 inch laptop for that price and probably crush the Surface Pro performance wise.

I should clarify. When I say crush, I mean gaming wise. Which I realize is not the purpose of a Surface Pro. Just a nice side effect.

What happens when you try to run OOTP on your Mac?

Which version of OS X are you running? If you're not sure, click the Apple icon in the top left and then select "About This Mac." The window that pops up will tell you which version of OS X.

BTW, you can upgrade to the latest version of OS X, Yosemite, for free through the Mac App Store, assuming your Mac can run Yosemite. (Sadly, I have an iMac that can't.)

There are actually ways to run OOTP on tablets, including iPads, by using software that connects to your computer and runs the game from there. Since OOTP isn't very hardware intensive, I've heard it runs quite well on a tablet/iPad and responds to the touch interface well.

Of course, that requires running OOTP on your computer, and you can't do that. If you can give me more specifics, I can try to help you with that.

My wife has a 3 and she does a lot of high-end stuff on it. When she was sick with the flu I put Steam and OOTP on it and OOTP ran just fine.
