Exhibition Stats - A Bug?

I recently converted from OOTP 14 to OOTP 15. In my historical replays, in addition to the World Series I like to schedule postseason City Series' as exhibitions (Cubs vs White Sox, as an example). In v14 I could view exhibition stats by selecting "Exhibition" in the dropdown of the Splits. However, now that I'm using v15, the Exhibition splits selection does not result in any stats being shown (it's all zeros).

Is this a bug? I figure it must be because if the intent were to not track any exhibition stats, then why would "Exhibition" be a included as a splits filter?

Anybody have any thoughts on this, and/or if it should be reported as a bug?

Thanks

I don't think the game recognizes them as exhibition games.

You have to select "Play Exhibition Game" from the "Play" menu.

AFAIK it is not possible to schedule "exhibition" games yourself.

Either that, or check all your filters to be sure there's isn't a custom one blocking the display.

Thanks Bluenoser.

In OOTP 14 it was definitely possible to schedule a bunch of exhibition games right after the end of the regular season (essentially running alongside the World Series). During actual games and when looking at lineups or pitching rotations, I could filter for "Exhibition" and it would give me the stats for the exhibition games played so far. In addition, I could go to a team's page and choose Reports, and filter for Exhibition and get the stats.

Now, in OOTP 15, I can still schedule the exhibition games after the end of the regular season, no problem, but the exhibition stats no longer accumulate.

Note that I found that during an exhibition game "games" and "games started" are equal to 1 for the players who have played in the game, but all other stats are 0's. Then when the game is complete, even the games & GS reset to 0.

Sure sounds like a bug to me if "Exhibition' is a valid filter but the stats aren't kept.

Sounds like something's amiss. You should open a bug report for this.
