Purchasing a Player
Working with a 1903 game. Only have 25 men on roster. Trying to buy a player from another team. Put in $3,000 but game says I don't have the money. Have over $100,000 in bank.
I'm missing something. Any suggestions. |

OOTP accounting does not resemble real accounting.
Check your FINANCES page and see how much money is available for new signings. If it is zero, then you have your answer--which is that your excess cash is 'budgeted' to fund operations for the rest of the year.

I believe the number you see in the trade window is your budget, not your current financial position. I dont like it either.
