Stats Only Misc Questions

Is 56 College teams enough? I plan on renaming the schools so i can get some of my favorites in like Navy, Notre Dame, Northwestern, etc.
Full MLB with minors and Japan league.
Why so many HS leagues? Something like 216? teams under default feeders.

What do I select to only have runner speed and pitcher velocity on?

How will i know what pitches the guys throw?

For now I have it saved as a template. Will look at it more over the weekend.

Good luck, it's definitely a different beast. I prefer it, myself, but we all know the mantra.

To some of your questions: Pitching velocity stats on when you go stats only, as does the types of pitches. You'll see "throws 91-93 MPH" or whatever the range is, same as usual. For the pitches, you'll see the names of the pitches listed, but no ratings for them.

If you leave "other ratings" on to whatever number you desire, that will keep speed. But it also keeps other things as well, but I'm not sure which. I'm sure others will chime in to be helpful.

Have fun, hope you enjoy, even if you decide to return to ratings!

In my fictional league set up i have an mlb structure with 5 minor league levels and 25 rounds in the draft. For me what has worked to produce a good number of players, is 32 college teams and 40 high school teams... the default numbers were not working too well for me. Keep in mind that for the first 2 or 3 years there will also be real players in the draft pool so it may be inflated.

My league is fictional so I wont have real players. i am also starting in 2000 vs 2013 or 14.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
