unable to release license on server

I was going to upgrade my computer to windows 10 tech preview and figured un-licensing would be a good idea. but when I try all I get is

ootp was unable to release the license on the license server

I have been trying since last night, I suppose I could submit a support ticket but...

Unfortunately, all I can recommend is filing a support ticket.

If you have not tried it consider disabling your AV/Malware program temporarily. This has worked for me in the past.

btw I figured this out, My computer clock had gotten 7 minutes ahead and I guess it was enough to cause an error in the process
