Waiver order

I always thought that current standings dictated the waiver order, but on Nov. 13th I was in 11th place and claimed a player off waivers, but he ended up going to the 4th place team. Is there something else that impacts priority, or is this a bug?

That would be a bug. Thanks for noting it, we will try to reproduce it here and fix it.

Quick question: normal game or fictional/historical?

Normal game, second season. I have a save game from after I claimed him but before he was assigned, if that would be any help. After you advance one day, he is always assigned to Ottawa in 4th place.

While you're at it: my starting goaltender (Carey Price) is unhappy, ostensibly because of "insufficient playing time" but he's played every game this season. He's been this way ever since the Olympic break last season and if you can't help him I might have to allocate some of my team's budget to getting him some Prozac.
