expanded playoffs dont finish?

The year is 2006 and I just expanded to 32 teams (las vegas AL West, san antonio AL South). I wanted to have a NFL style 12 team playoff system. i had to create a custom playoff for this which was fine (although if in future versions this was an automatic option that would be great). the wild card round (3 games) goes off without a hitch, as does the divisional round (5 games). my red sox make it to the LCS round (7 games) and they're playing the twins. The Nats and someone else are SUPPOSED to be playing in the NLCS. My series goes a full 7 games and it doesnt appear that the NLCS has played any games nor do they have any scheduled. I end up losing a 1-0 in game 7 and then i get the "season score" message after the game. there are no more games scheduled. there is no announced world series champ. but the offseason begins. what happened? i like the format i set up but i dont want to not have a world series champ.

Open your custom play-off setting and take a screen shot and post it please.

1st thought is, are you playing historical? or fictional? Seems like it is historical and you have historical evolution on which did not have expanded teams or playoffs in 2006. So the game is not recognizing the different setup?

I've noticed that when the extra wild card game kicks in, it messed up the league winners in the league history index.
