Every year I will bring it up. OOTP 6.5's best feature

So I still want the option to get married, have kids, have them go to school then get the chance to draft them.

With feeder leagues it works even better because now you can follow their development.

Yeah, I agree. Would also love to see the "kids" names linked in their fathers GM profiles - same with other players having sons or brothers.

I have to admit, for some reason, I always liked the build-a-family feature in OOTP 6.5. That was really my favorite version overall.
