Team Budget

I have played decades worth of seasons in iOOTP 14 and almost 200 in iOOTP 13 and there has been one thing I've always wondered. How does team budget work? I've rarely (if ever) seen my teams budget change. I've been the Phillies in both games but my budget remains at 190,000,000 forever. I wanted to know if budget even does change and I've just gotten unlucky or if thats just a feature that isn't yet in iOOTP yet. Thanks

Yes, I have gotten budget increases

Several times, always with successful teams. I do not recall what the owner's attitudes were, but "generous" is probably way better than "economizer."

In historical replay I've had budget increases most seasons with an "economizer." The market size also increased once, from "average" to "rather big," probably because I was able to keep fan interest high and fan loyalty rated "above average."

The budget can increase or decrease it depends on your performance and how your owner is with his money

Budget, market size, and fan loyalty will all improve if you go on long enough and keep winning. But there are upper limits. I have taken Honolulu to Astronomical (the highest available), Extreme (highest available), and $210 million (appears to be as high as he will go).

Edit: my team owner is "charitable" and my first budget 29 years ago was $180 million -- about double the budget I expected to have in Honolulu!
