Awesome. I love the pinstripes and gold script on the jersey. I saw the uniforms you did for those older Michigan logos as well and thought they were great, too. It makes me want to update those Michigan logos to look as good as the uniforms.

I made a batch of uniforms for a new league/universe I'm starting in the nineteenth century. As I go through history and make new uniforms/teams move I'll continue posting them in this thread. Might as well release my work, right? To start we have eight teams, but with folding so prevalent in this time period who knows how many will survive to 1877?

I might try to make logos for some of these if I get a chance. They look really awesome.

knuckler,
That middle Mustangs logo may be the best you have ever done. Of course I say that about every other logo you do also. Great work!

The only Class E player to make it to the majors; or, An excuse to obsess | The J.G. Preston Experience

This blog post about the only Class E minor leaguer to make the majors is a fascinating story. Within it, are some names of long defunct teams that have great classic looks and I thought would be fun to recreate.

Crookston (Mn) Pirates

St. Joseph's (Mich.) Autos

Hello there!

I've just started venturing into making my own jerseys, now that I actually have an understanding of Photoshop, and I have just a few questions.

Just how do you people get that incredibly awesome jersey and cap texture? Also how do do those sleeve stripes?

But, most important of all, how in the world do you get the sweet cursive scripts (i. e. the Mustangs team name below)?

(see below for a recent example)

The El Paso Sun Kings (1961 - 1973) had a switch-hitting second baseman named Kurt Russell in 1973.

I will let Tex answer the uniform questions, but the scripts are a matter of finding the right fonts and then modifying them with tails in photoshop.
