Family legacy and suffix box
The game should have a way to identify relatives. Perhaps a setting or a box where you can link players as being related to each other brothers, grandfathers, uncles, cousins, father and sons. And you can look up to see which baseball family what's the bestwhich father some combination had the most homeruns? Which brother combination at the most saves? You get my drift. Have storylines attached to them if a player signs with a team that already has a relative they headline could read "Cousins Same Team", "Brothers to be Teammates".
Also a suffix box for seniors, juniors, III, IV ect. Because right now if you look up all the players by a certain last name if his name includes a suffix like "SR" or "JR" their name will appear on the list. For example if I look at all the players with the last name "Rose" Pete Rose Sr won't appear on that list because technically his last name is "Rose Sr". It's kind of annoying

+1 I think this idea would add more interest in some players.
I run a long running online Fictional league, recently passed our 50th season, and have father, sons, grandfathers would be cool. |

I support this. In my league I used to take the time to document and link to the HTML of progeny and family members when we had legacy families, but those histories got lost to upgrades upon upgrades. Would like it if the game made this easier, because all of the conditions are already embedded in the game anyway.

Obvious question: Would we use Jr. with a period, or Jr with no period? And how do we avoid having a Ken Griffey Jr. Jr.?

I've been wishing this for years now. I recall when they announced players would have kids but all they did was add Jr. to it. Even if you looked at where the player was born it made no sense. That was sad so hopefully they step it up for OOTP16
