Historical Relocations - can you stop them?

Hello,

I'm playing a historical sim, which is based on rethinking the expansion era. Although I still want expansion to happen, I want to stop certain franchise moves that don't make sense in my world (e.g., The Boston Braves are one of the most successful teams in my world, and have a die-hard fan base; having them move to Milwaukee doesn't work).

Is it possible to stop historical franchise relocations without having to manually edit the game's details to move them back to the original city every season? If yes, how do I do that?

Delete the historicaldatabase.odb file from the stats folder. Then the game will use the teams.csv file in that same Stats folder. Change it to your liking. The next time you start OOTP after that it will use your altered file.

Under League Settings, Options, turn off League Evolution or just turn off the things under League Evolution you don't want to happen automatically...

Sounds like he's playing historical so league evolution isn't an option to have on or off. The changes in historical are controlled by whether or not you have the auto expansion box checked.

I have been lead to believe auto-expansion only affects expansion but not relocations. Boston to Milwaukee was not expansion oriented. Well, other than the amount of beer available for waist expansion..

It includes team relocations as well.
