Need Tech support, but where is it???

I add this to the tech thread, but I received no feed back, so I will post it here.


I am not sure where to report this, here it goes. I have the current update on. Today is draft day. In the past, I draft the first 8-10 rounds, then sim out the rest of the draft. Today is different. It stops or pauses after 94% complete and never finishes even after waiting 2 or 3 hours. I turned the debug options and this is the error that keeps repeating in the log.

Not sure where this file is to be able to correct this issue. Can someone direct me, please and thank you.

My history.txt files are here.
Default install

C:/Users/"You"/Documents/OOTP/OOTP15/Saved games/????.lg/news/txt/players

Make a copy of you .lg folder for a back up.

If you sort by file name they will sort in numerical order. You can then see if the file exists.
1) If not then create a blank file with the file name. See if that fixes it.
2) If it does exist try to open it.

Post your results here. We can try a few trouble shooting ideas based on your results.
What is this league?
Did you start it in OOTP 15?
How many seasons have you run?

Answers in reverse order. I am on year 2019 of a fictional league. I started with either version 6 or 6.5, I don't remember.

As for your solution, I was able to remove the player in error, but now when I sim out the rest of draft, it gets stuck at 48% complete. How can I clear out the draftees and start all over?

Was the player in error a draftee?
Do you have "delete players who did not reach majors" selected?
Please run through some of your players and make sure you did not lose histories when you converted to 15. Check retired players to see if stats or histories have not been lost.

How long ago did you convert?
How far before the draft do you have a save?

Our online league is about as old as your league, maybe a few years older. We have run into some funky player history and player stat problems I am still trying to fix.

If you have a save from before the draft was started I think you can go to the draft pool and delete all of the players. I do not know if that is going to resolve the issue or not. I am guessing you can create another draft class by changing the setting for when the draft class is revealed.

I do not know of one. I am guessing no. I think it will have to be done in game.
